Describes the environmental, economic, regulatory and social benefits of pollution prevention for public lands and surrounding communities.

Preventing Pollution
Describes steps to identify, evaluate and prevent pollution on public lands. Highlights specific examples of opportunities for each management area and links to case studies, guides, administrative directives and support programs.

Public Education
Introduces the topic of visitor, employee and contractor education. Examines how public land managers can lead the public to conservation and protection in their local community.
